Was wondering about that one recently! How was it? The last couple days I’ve been able to try the rest of the Montecristo sample cube I bought awhile ago. KSPlainsman the platinum was definitely the best of the bunch. I’d buy more. The white series was smooth and fairly mild. The epic was similar but had more leather and maybe a little coco. I did not enjoy the Monte at all. It was straight up over the top old leather in your face with little depth beyond that. I’ll put the rest of those in the humidor and hope they mellow out and age well.
Those Platinums are pretty good & I really like the White Labels. I am a big fan of the H. Upmann Banker Annuity & these 1844 Reserves. I have some Herman’s Batch but haven’t had one yet.
Good to know! I’ll definitely check em out. I almost pulled the trigger on both of those the other day. Ended up ordering Hoofty bag lunch and hellbound. Also got a couple different Rocky vintage toros and some Aging Room Quattro Original Vibrato I’m looking forward to.

There wasn’t anything safe around when I had shine & a gun. I would of had no interest in cigars, they would of impeded my drinking. Oh the good ol’ days… Not really, nobody has encouraged me to start again only thanked me for stopping. Lol. It looks like a good time for responsible folks. I love unwrapping new cigars. yooperdave was it you who was asking about cigarpage? I just opened my first two orders from them. The first box came packaged in a bag with a Boveda 69% and contained a nice handwritten note. the second order came well packaged in a box but they were in separate bags in the box. No Boveda. All in all I was happy with them and I would definitely order again. edit: when I say box I mean cardboard shipping box.
