Received a nice late Christmas gift of a pair of 'Vermonter' leather gloves from Vermont Gloves and the care kit. Always wanted a pair but those things aren't cheap.

I'll never know what the moisture is now, with 2 meters.

I gifted a 'custom' pair to a good friend a few years ago. They send a pattern that you trace your hand to.

I made out pretty good this year. I got a Benchmade folder that I would never spend the money for myself. Portable card reader thingy for the deer camera cards. New fancy rifle optic. Some ammo. Big bag of pistachios.

Very easy to overheat cutters with those.

I will get one. I can't think of the model or would pull a stock image. It's green. lol It's a little chunkier than my cheap EDC Sog unit. I have not yet decided if it will be my daily. I like that I don't have to care much about my cheap knife. Let's me more use it as a tool rather than just a knife. The gifter would tell me to tear it up, but I'm not built that way.

Little more mass and weight than I'm used to carrying. Solid knife. Blade comes out with enough force that you better be hanging on when it does. I guess I also got lifetime warranty service and lifetime sharpening with it ($15 shipping cost I think).

:dex:. I've owned and carried my BM's for a looong time. Everyday that knife and don't regret it, that's what it's for. The Lifesharp service is nice, used it many times, mainly before I got really good at sharpening here at home. If there's anything amiss or questionable, they'll replace.

I'm actually not too rough on my knives. Fear of laying this one down and getting distracted is real. Not done it for a while but had a bad habit of it a couple years ago. My daily was laying opened under the seat of my dirtbike for 3 weeks a couple years ago before I found it when doing air filter cleaning. lol I do really like the knife and am impressed with the quality. It may inspire me to purchase a Bugout as I have sniffed them in the past based on their reputation. I think a whole bunch of them went over to the sandbox with the troops.
