I swear sometimes for growing up in ND my beautiful bride is citified. Some of the stuff she has never heard of pr is it just me???? I have a pair, my 91 year old neighbor has talked about them, my wife's mother even knew what they were, yet my wife claims to have until yesterday never heard of "chopper mittens". The good old leather mittens with nice warm cloth liners. Have you heard of them, or what do you call them?
Yup, common gear up here in Canada. I even have one that has a opening on the end of one thumb...........................but that's another story !!!!!!!
It appears Santa was good to you this Christmas Jack Straw. Did you get the matching thong too ???????
Well then, C'mon up here! Be sure to stop along the way and pick up a pair. We used to wear them for the serious winter weather (-0) when we were playing outside. They were warmer than the just plain wool mittens and the leather added quite a degree of waterproofing. For awhile anyway!
