    I like the 3rd picture that has the worried face looking at you from the end of the log. I see two eyes and a mouth staring directly at the wedge.

    I have the Harbor Freight 20 ton where the wedge is bi-directional. Super fast if you have 2-3 people operating it, but still great when operated solo. I've had it 3 years and I really love it. I can't imagine most people needing anything more unless they're doing commercial.

    Imo . Pushing the wood thru the wedge.
    You can build a chute and the splitter will push the wood away from you. A poor man's conveyor.
