   Thanks for everyone's advice. I bought the name brand instead of the cheap knockoff thanks to members naming the original brand. As stoveliker said it's easy to unknowingly hit the Reverse button and strand the brush in the flu.

   Also try a couple different pairs of your shoes on you roof, some sole are slippery and some grip wet or frosted much better
