    make sure if you use it you keep some of original packaging as otherwise it could be labeled as older and contain asbestos which will prevent most people on working on it...

    The snouts on ours looked like this. Our chimney is outside the house and tees in through the block foundation/basement wall.
    Yours would be different if its going in a fireplace. Flex may be needed to go up through a damper or smoke shelf

    I guess my post didn't post correctly. What is the best pipe material to use to install a wood stove into a brick fireplace. How easy is it to get around the smoke shelf?
