The Corgi was in minutes before Chrissy snapped that pic! (Notice) the dog hair floating in the water... It sure as hell didn't come from me!
What a job! Good thing is getting it started and done the right way. It'll be a relief once it is all wrapped up! Now, about those tub pics......
Here's how much I got it covered before it rained. It was fine and it rained like crazy. I got to let it dry up for a bit before I finish today.
That was last July, and I'll be doing it again this July and August! I also have an outdoor shower, (cold only). This place is normally 90% to 100% humidity in the summer. The Pups got their own tub, and it's MUCH cheaper than a pool!
Are your temps + 90º. Our average day in July is usually in that range. You would (think) right here on the coast it would be cooler, Nope! And you can't BUY a breeze of air when you want one...
Not normally that high for temps. But, when it gets hot, yeah, they get up there with no mercy and I begin to MELT! Thats when I break out the window shaker and install the AC at the cottage. Usually, overnight will get into the lower 70's, maybe the upper 60's during those heat waves. Yeah, yeah, yeah......I know you down south boys have it a lot worse! Just think of winter temps and snow levels up here and maybe it'll even out!
I don't mind the cold, sadly the wind starts blowing here in late October and doesn't quit till May. I agree with you on Snow! My wife is from LaCrosse Wi so her and I know a little of snow! We also have the land in New Hampshire, thats no joke either. We were in LaCrosse one winter Visiting her Mother and Father and it was -37 below! Believe it or not, that was the coldest I had ever been in. Many years back I was in Newfoundland and it was -31. Only thing is, you can't escape the heat unless you live in the air conditioning and I'm too much of an outdoors guy. We do sleep with a window A/C but I cool off as the pic's show! Easy! Some of these people around here run their A/C 24/7 and they must have $1000.00 a month electric bills! I just can't do that.
Cracking up over here Dave LOVE IT!!! I'll PM you about giving you a hand I got a couple of chits storms around here and my wife is going to visit family in FL next weekend but maybe we can line up a weekend I am free to give you a hand with the Chimney.
Mark those studs before you close it in so it's easier to mount your wall supports. Ask me how i know
