I imagine I'll be doing the same project before too long.

Tossing the bricks outside through the hole? That is a labor saver. Like peeling a band-aid off, the worse part should be over.:zip: I hope the rest goes well.

I got to the height I needed! My 59 year old arms are a bit tired! fishingpol , yes throwing what bricks I can out the hole. I have just as much in as I do out though from fragmenting when breaking. I gotta start cleaning up now! Deserve a Beer now! I took a flying fragment in the lip and it's feels (JUST WONDERFUL). :headbang: :drunk::coldone: The sheet rock behind brick was also wet. Not real bad, but it was. It all has to get cut out now, I'm gonna worry about that another day...

Now you understand why I hurt every day! :pain: Thanks to the Crack heads, the meds I used to get I can't get any longer!!! Yes they were a narcotic but I was a person who could put them down. It didn't effect me like some. I was one of those who actually got RELIEF from them. Now they won't prescribe them to me. :headbang: Now I'm killing my Kidneys and intestines with a 1000 mg's of Motrin a day (or more)...

I'm gonna do it Correctly! It will go on the market but if I have to live here for a couple more years, it'll be right when I'm done, I'm not gonna skimp. :) The weather is supposed to be ok through the weekend so gonna to my best to re-sheath the outside. I just ate 1000mgs of Motrin, I'm a sore pup!

Today I tore everything out that was bad, rebuild the wall and made a header assembly for the new pipe thimble that will go through the wall. My Buddy, who installed wood stoves for a living stopped by and gave me some "rough" measurements to have built in so when we get ready to install the pipe. Gott'er buttoned up today, going to put some tar paper up for the night. Well, one floor done now gotta move up to the second tomorrow... Motrin & Beer time, in that order. :drunk:

Yesterday was a Looooong day. Worked till dark. I got the wall torn apart, siding down and all the bad stuff cut out. I had to sister 2 studs in, one only for a nailer but the other stud was (Iffy) at best. Today I Hope to get the sheathing on and tar paper on. We're supposed to have light showers later today, I'm only a one man band here doing this myself and climbing up and down that latter all day is kicking my A$$!!! :pain: Enjoy the pics. :ithappened:
