Regarding the ceramic board baffle at about 1:15 of the video, does the one half of the baffle need to be re positioned by pushing it towards the rear of the stove or is it designed to "hang over" the secondary air tubes like it does?

(The dog hole is also known as the dog house)

Nice vid, I am amazed that the phone (?) makes it so much easier to see into places like you did.
Just the other weekend, we used one for exactly the same thing while running a line voltage for a new stove in a completed kitchen wall and had to look inside the stud cavity......convenient! Turns out the builder had placed a fire stop inside the cavity......

Nice stove. Check your baffles at times as sometimes when loading you might bump the baffles out of place. The baffles are fragile so treat them gently.

baffles generally they are just a bit over the front tube or even with the front edge of it ( from my experience with my NC30) how is the side play in those on the Madison? In the 30 OEM baffles are a bit short side to side, so most of us rig up something to fill that gap, or like me after several years I replaced the baffles with new ones I made with material from one of the heat treat/ kiln suppliers and made them wide enough to cover the full width.

Seems to me they should be even with each other.
Edit , pic in the manual shows the baffle boards even

    Good video CoreyB

So do the secondary burn tubes lift out? Or do the baffles shimmy out between them?

On the 13 and the 30, you have to unbolt (unsrcew) the secondary tubes and lower them to remove the baffle. I can only assume that the madison is set up the same.

Which reminds me....the tubes have to be put back into the same location as the holes are angled for their placement.....

You have to remove the tubes. At least one.
