Not sure why you'd want to get to work faster....home faster, maybe. Anyhoo...this ought to do it: If that's not your style, this would probably work too:
I have the stock spoiler already, and the plastic Folgers container, while looking AWESOME when in place, tends to melt off after a bit when duct taped to the exhaust pipe. Flame stickers......hmmm.
Go get a big ole can of beans from Costco and tape that sucker to your tailpipe. They don't melt and they sound real sweet bro
The Eco-Tech in your Cobalt has the coil pack over the plugs right? As the Cat begins to age and plug up you'll build additional heat on top of the engine (whether the coil failing causes the cat issue or vice versa is debatable). If you changed plugs and boots, I'd go for new coil pack and change the ICM cassette at the same time. GF's went out ~180k on her '02 Grand Am. Timing chain/tensioner let go on it ~210k
Seriously, I did do back to back oil changes, back in the day. On a truly filthy engine, I'd add rislone, not kerosene, before the first oil change, and used the cheapest oil I could get. Then, a hundred miles or so later, another one. This time using a quality oil and filter. Nowadays, though, what the others have said is true. Oil is much better, and if you've been keeping up with basic maintenance, then that's not going to be your problem. First I'd look at the injector flush, then maybe the other stuff. If none of that works, THEN and only then, would I buy a spoiler. My 94 T bird has one, and I SWEAR it makes me go faster.
