Just water, flood it and blow it and flood it with the hose. You want to get all those metal shavings out so it don't suck them into the cylinder.

And it may seem like common sense but take the muffler off the saw before you start hacking on it!!o_O

Most folks bend the stock deflector up and reach up in their with a Dremel and a stone but you said you don't have one so that's out.

This is how I did mine. No dremel at the time. Just wollerd it out with a drill bit.

Most def will be taking the muffler off haha. Don't want to get any type of metal at all in a brand new top end. Should I hold off until I can pick up a Dremel since it is rather precise and tight work?

Your call, depends on how neat and professional you want it to look. A air cutoff will slice the side for gills and like CG said a drill will wallow out the exsiting hole.

Kind of a perfectionist when it comes to something I will look at for near every day haha. I do the think the cut off tool would bugger it up too bad making a 1" slot/gill

The Wood Wolverine do these things like a timing bump? It's not something I've messed with. Just curious.

That is something I have never attempted. Messing with timing I know can get you in trouble.

Was looking at some GB bars for this saw and wanted to make sure I was thinking right on the K095 bar mount. Second guessing myself. It is indeed a K095 bar mount for the 340 right?

I haven't gotten an answer on that very question. Asked 2 people, one said he didn't change it and I got no reply from the other. I've been grinding on ours today.

    Yes, Ko95.

I asked about a timing bump on another forum in a build thread and one guy said he left it stock. No one else commented. If I had another flywheel I would try it.

For dremel accessories checkout Harbor Freight. I have their biggest accessory kit and the stuff is as good as dremel at a fraction of the cost. A Harbor Freight dremel should do what you need to do also.

Really nice looking job on the port. Next time I make a trip to up to Knightdale I will stop by HF and grab a Dremel with some accessories. I appreciate that tip

I have the set and their dremel. The stones seem to wear fast but I also only bought a few dremel brands to compare too.

I may pick on up and try give it a try for the price. Might run Dremel bits or harbor freight bits

Was looking at ordering another muffler to do some mods to. Figured keep the stock one in case I somehow mess up on a cut or something. A cheap aftermarket muffler would be good to learn on

Has anyone ever used or heard any reviews on these mufflers? Just do the want to have to cut out an inner plate inside the muffler.

I have ordered some china mufflers off ebay. There perfectly fine the ones I have messed with. In some cases better as many don't have baffles and the outlet is bigger on some
