Chainsaw prices.

The Echo I purchased had free shipping on it or I would have bought locally. I agree, Amazon sellers are jacking up ship cist as a way to recover inflated dollars.

 

Always use Stihl 50-1 and their bar oil too. Nit cheap but good stuff. Don't consume that much anyway.

 

Yea i try to stay away from the river as much as possible. Admittedly i still order from there now and again.

There's one or two decent saw shops around here. The stihl dealer and husqvarna dealer. Luckily the husqvarna one deals in all kinds of other brands! They're more of an all around outdoor power equipment store. All kinda stuff in stock from riding mower engines to chainsaw oil tank pickup screens. Might take them a little bit to find the parts but they're usually there somewhere. They also have their own machine shop on site.

 

Just on Bailey's site and I see his price on Echo saws has went up appreciably.

 

I have an annoying tendency to let things go for far less than I should have. Probably why I have always (and still am) been poor.

 

Stihl saws have gone up roughly 90-100$ over the last year. My ms 400 was 909 now they’re just over 1000.

 

Cheaper to buy a brand new saw.
