Real stand up guy, talked on phone on a regular basis he's gave me some real good deals.I have a couple requests he'll keep an eye out for & I get first shot when they turn up.
Oh, I split the cases and had them powder coated, put all new bearings and rubber parts in it. NOS piston, carb, intake, and oil pump, the cylinder was really nice, so I didn't have to do anything to it. The rest of the saw cleaned up pretty well. I pretty much just cleaned up the rest. It was a running saw before I took it apart, so it'll run again. I've left it dry for now cause I don't have any immediate plans to run it.
It's a pretty good 10' saw, it's not perfect, I've just always wanted a nice one for my collection. It isn't a museum piece, but it's good enough for my collection.
Grabbed this yesterday morning from Roseburg,OR,should be here late next week. Top shelf Seller, purchased 5 saws & a few parts from him over the past 4 years. Good price & just about the nicest one I've seen.So many that are still out there are rust covered with deep pitting & other damage. Am done for a while now, unless the overtime starts back up in a few weeks
