The one I had had a burned up scratched piston and the muffler was seized onto the cylinder so I just tore it down to the crank case and stripped it. I still have a few parts left and some on it to strip (actually looked at it tonight) I think I have made close to $150 off that saw and it wasnt even any good as it sat when I got it. And I kept the bar and chain!
Awesome wish i could get a free stihl lol i did manage to get a old free stihl trimmer tho with them homelites
Ok, I was surfing the net looking for some of my long lost pics and found this awesome one I took a couple years ago. Kinda freaked my family out but I thought it was hilarious! ENJOY!!
Mine does not like to post sometimes. I have to close some of the browser pages I am too lazy to close close some apps and then talk nice. Sometimes a restart is needed?
Actually they have been on sale for a little while now. I hear of them selling for under $300 which makes them an even better deal than they were before. And yes, they respond to muffler mods quite nicely and run awful good for their size. Newer saws have better filtration and anti-vibe for sure but the old MS250 is still one of the best saws out there in this price range.
