These 2 have been getting a work out cleaning up pine around the edges of the fields. Pine pitch is a mess to clean up.
Not my 660, but first time I've run one. 36" bar. Having run the 500i before it the same day I wasn't that impressed. Too heavy for me.
It's not winning any beauty contests these days but it's very dear to me. Who else still uses the first chainsaw they ever bought long ago?
They were 1/2 the price of 200T’s and did the same job. It is the only Echo saw I’ve ever used. I tried the 2511 but I didn’t like the cramped hand compartment.
I still remember that it was $279.00 asking price. It was a good chunk of money for me in 1998 (who am I kidding, still is!). Owner of shop took time to demo the saw on a log out back with me and show me a couple things. It allowed me to start clearing stuff from paths which was my intention. It never has done a lot of firewooding. I was gifted a Husky 350 not too long after and that's when my firewood cutting career began. Those were my only saws until 2014 when I bought a 70cc saw to 'finish' my 3 saw plan. Only the Husky is fully retired at this point. It earned it.
I have medium sized hands. I didn’t feel cramped on the 2511T I had and definitely not on the 2511P I replaced it with.
