Ground some chains for the echo pole saw. 3/8 low profile semi chisel safety chain. Cutting pretty good for 25cc
I should check. I doubt it though, it’s 3/8 .43 44dl on a 12” bar. I bought 3 chains for it when I bought it. In the 3 years I’ve owned it I haven’t gone through two of them. It’s not like I hit dirt with them often. Whenever I use it I am cleaning up branches 3x more than I am cutting. Nature of the beast.
Finished grinding chains. BIL gave me a fubar 3/8 lo-pro. I should have scrapped it and bought him a real chain. Missed the focus. Really wasn’t worth the time I spent on it.
I have an area that I cleared several years ago. It was a thicket. Briars battling to the death with invasive vines. There is a pig nut hickory that was being strangled by vines. That tree has exploded in growth the last couple years. Cut a dozen stumps that I should have cut years ago. I like to cut them to the ground and notch them out. In a year I’ll kick what’s left and it will crumble. MS251, great saw for little jobs. This saw owes me nothing, I’ve cut so much with it.
