I started that saw earlier in the day and it had all the compression. SCHallenger had one made custom to start his larger saws. A guy from New Zealand made the original one here’s the video action starts around 5:30
A lot of Germans fled to Brazil after the wars so there's still a good chance someone of German ancestry made that bar
Very nice. Do you mostly run the 20" on yours? The 20" would whip majority of the trees around here. The 25" should cover >99.9% of the rest.
Yes mostly 20" On the bigger CC saws too. 462, 460 & 500i. If I need to use the 25: bar it will go on them. The 400 did come with a Tsumura 25" bar.
When I was younger and dumber I'd'a used the 3120 with 36" bar..... Now that I'm older and (outta be smarter) I usually opt for a 40cc w/ 18" or sometimes even the ported 2511p w/16"
The "Homeowner" 180 turned Amateur today. Bought a side tension kit and cover. Now.. will the quick adjust fit on the 400? Oh, is the sprocket near replacement or just at mid life?
