Picked up a basically NOS Cannon made 36” bar for an absolute steal. Happened to be 3002 Stihl mount and in 404. Nothing an adapter and a new tip won’t fix.

Had to mod the oil holes a little too. Pee-revved a couple times to confirm it’s absolutely soaking the chain in erl.

Thinking about some epoxy to close the top of the oil hole that’s above the grease mark 6EEFB94D-C65F-4102-AD66-B42DEFDBB5EA.jpeg

    Chain ended up being 122dl.

Anyone needing a new 404 tip? Can’t see myself ever using it.

Cleaning up a pile of skinnies with the 445. This is the first time I’ve ever really run it. Does ok for what it is, and the only $$$ I have in it is the new bar and chain. B00A549C-C799-4716-86D2-94447EAB32AA.jpeg

Looks good. Nice job. Wish it was cooler down here. We had to cut a yard this morning, mostly winter weeds... 0304231257.jpg 0304231300_HDR.jpg

Much more balanced than the 42, the nose doesn't fall just sitting it down. Hoping to get it in the woods tomorrow.

I bought one just like it off AS site from a guy. It was large husqvarna mount. It is also on a 394 I got from huskihl. Sweet setup that just keeps digging. Mine come out to 120 dls. Good deal at 80 bucks. 20221128_174634.jpg

Always been my contention that a dull chain will make a turd out of any saw.

Couple years ago farmer steve gave me a Husky bar (thanks again!). Finally have a saw to put it on. And it’s almost too nice to use. :loco:

This was dads saw, which he couldn’t start due to lack of a decomp. I traded him for a Jred with the button.

I almost won one of those at the local online auction a couple years ago. It was minty and someone wanted it more than I did.
