261. Liking the Mtronic version.

 

I wasn’t involved in the theft.

 

I too recently picked up an M-tronic 261.
At first it had a hard time running, but I could actually hear changes in its tone in idle while it was making its own adjustments as it warmed up and I reved it a few times. Now it runs perfectly, even up at 4000ft. I'm cautiously impressed.

 

I honestly cant say ive noticed any difference between the two. not that ive paid close attention. My fear is the cost should it break.

064 came out today.

 

ive got a new tank heading this was for my two year old 064 project. should be here mid week.
Looking forward to running one.

 

first stop, smaller standing dead Red Oak, 562XS


Next stop, a bigger White Oak that if not dead, it didn’t have long.



Same walk in the woods so same saw.

 

661 feels light after using the 084. Made some mulch with it. Ran the 262 again after replacing parts.

 

Hard to make out, but in the middle is the Oak with the snapped off top

562XS again today.
Put a nice edge on it after yesterday but should have touched the rakers too.
Still did a nice job.


I doubt this pile will be this tall when I see it next.
