Never really jived with it. Runs okay, but sits on the shelf and haven't run it in years. Wish I could say more as to why I don't use it more as it is light and easy to handle. Thanks for asking.

Bought back in August. The seller lived five minutes from me and i thought it was a cool old saw that had minimal use. Gave it to M2theb to restore/work on as i was doing a job near him back in the late Summer. The job ended and been meaning to meet up and just met up yesterday as he was in CT. I may need to convert the bar to a newer Stihl size. Some weird old chain size. The file that came with it is 1/8"!

Cool little saw. Amazing how similar it is to the 075.

The CS-7310P with the more reasonable 24” bar next to the baby brother and the lil Efco in the background. 206DFE07-0B58-4FB0-A9AA-440C334A7D72.jpeg

No, then it wouldn't be new anymore, would it.  Been trying to put some effort in the garage getting rid of junk no longer used plus just getting diverted.

HAHA!!! I can now contribute to this thread, submitted for your viewing pleasure. <cues up Miss America Theme song>

Husky 572XP (built by Huskihl) with 32" Tsumara bar.

I haven't gotten it into the woods yet.... but soon. Need to get some good 2-stroke oil and another chain or two as a backup....

I’m sure if you looked hard, the answer would be yes but not all new. A lot if not most are NLA. I was able to convert this to an electronic coil. This saw originally had points and condenser, in an older version. This specific saw had only the trip with the coil. Had no spark and was able to replace it with an electronic with minor wiring mods from the kill switch. Rubber and soft goods are available

LOL, So I'm downstairs last night, admiring the new saw and looking at the 32" bar on the saw thinking "holy smokes that is a long sucker. I think my eyes were bigger than my brain". I must've had a crazy grin/look in my eyes when the wife comes downstairs and says, (not kidding) "what are you gonna cut with THAT?" This was the first time she had seen the new saw with the bar on it. Previously was just the power head. If I was a little quicker I would have made a zombie apocalypse reference or quoted something from Army of Darkness (great movie BTW). She winked and walked away. :)

So I've got a 24" Tsumura light weight coming and a couple of chains for it. I wish they would make a 26" which would be just about right. 20" on the rancher, then a 26/32 for the 572 for the bigger stuff. Oh well, beggar's can't be choosers right? :)
