550xpg on the way. Going to get the 026 cleaned up and hope to sell it. Nice saw with great compression, but I guess I am just more of a Husky girl. The 6421 may find a new home as well, but needs the oiling hoses repaired/replaced.

My favorite stock saw I own, the 550!
I’ve got an 026 I like too, but it won’t hold a candle to the 550
    Have fun!

It's a good saw, maybe I was just looking for something different. Hope the 550xp mk2 is all they say it is. I do like the autotuned on the 562xp, just wish it would start when warm, a problem the 550 should not have.

Picked this up at the local Husqvarna shop .For FREE ! Don’t know the history . But it was sold from a shop that was right across the road . It’s now a saw mill .
The saw has full skip semi chisel Stihl chain . Wasn’t aware that it was ever made .Gonna finish cleaning it up , change the fuel line, check the clutch bearing ,put a felling dog on it , etc.....

That’s a nice score! I know little about Mac’s but picking up a little. I grabbed a 250 from buZZsaw BRAD earlier this week to poke at.

I looked up the 700 on Acre’s site and it looks like you’ve got THE saw in the picture, show room new.

Reads elsewhere as a true pro saw with a good rep.

    Congrats!

We had a ProMac 610 I ran in 1980 for our sawmill. Got hung up in the shop shorty afterwards. I took it to Dennis's GTG last year and gave it to Armbru84 . Cole sent me a videoba couple weeks later, had it running.

Their not a 562xp ,or MS462 . But, they’ll hang with most other 70cc saws . They have a real nice ,and forgiving power band . I now have 3 of them ,plus a PM555 and 10-10s . Four of the saws were initially sold from the shop across the road . One of the 700’s was still in the factory box . Never fueled . And, as long as it lives here ,it won’t be . I’m gonna try to get a 28” bar for one of them ,and run semi skip square just to see what it’ll do .

775D the neighbor kid got this weekend. Text me a pic and said they were going to toss it. He grabbed it up and brought it home. Had it running and cutting for him tonight. 20200727_182818.jpg 20200727_182824.jpg He is building a new home right now and said there will be a shelf in the garage for it!!

That's what I thought. I told my wife how cool it is to see a old machine like that run. She said it was kind of like me. Open mouth insert foot!

Nice old saw. No need to do a muffler mod on that one!

Just got this Poulan running for a local farmer . He picked it up for $10 . Needed a good cleaning ,fuel ,and vent lines ,and the muffle opened up a bit . pretty strong runner for 60CC’s . A bit heavy though . BF85B56A-664B-4635-BF0E-CA36344B9D27.jpeg B4CA6AA7-E5A2-4B4C-A77B-8F773B25654A.jpeg pp

That's in great condition! Those are really durable good running saws, and pretty smooth too.

That 375 is nice looking. Not a lot of them around and that looks to be in good condition. Nice find.

it had very little wear on the spur sprocket ,and didn’t have much dirt, etc. under the starter cover . So, I’m guessing it wasn’t used much, was left full of fuel for long periods . Then the fuel line disintegrated ,and it was just left to gather dust . The guy got a pretty good saw for 10 bucks ,and 2 bucks worth of fuel line .
