Hadn’t a clue till you said something. Googled So it a 46mm with double ring and a semi, semi hemi. Is it just a piston swap?
Haven't found a saw yet But fruecrue on ope said relieve the piston a little Where the wrist pin bearing is. Side to sides a little tight And you'll get around 200 comp
Yeah, I hopped over there ASAP and found a few threads. The common theme is make sure it’s fit with a decomp valve. One of the threads quoted a 240 comp, and 4 broken starters. Thanks! I want to get a couple of these guys running well stock. This is an interesting idea.
350 belongs to my neighbor he bought it new. I rebuilt it only costs him 7.00 for the carb kit I had several 2.00 clearance pistons from hl supply. Runs good
Took advantage of some nice ohio weather today and the woodchips were a flying. I'm really loving this new saw, all I can think of is the crocodile dundee line, no this is a saw.. Oh brand new archer full skip chain, only stretched a little, tightened it up once.
Craigslist was on this weekend! I picked up the 154 SE yesterday and it’s on the bench. Hopefully needs nothing more than the carb gone through and fuel line replacement. Grabbed this 61 today and it needs nothing. Newer bar and chain and had the clutch replaced last year. Nice saw for under a bean!
Ive been considering selling my old 460 and getting the 462. The CC's are less than the 460 (77 vs 71 i think). Have you cut with it yet?
