A couple of old beaters plus I have an old Stihl 015L top handle. I started the Stihl & Homie a few years ago, but never the Echo. Thinking they will end up on a future raffle to help someone in need, if there's any interest. Anyone have any knowledge in the Oregon bar on the Echo? Looks like 32" & posted a close-up of the numbers.
Scored this beauty from a user over at OPE during a raffle to help on of their members. Have to work tomorrow some, but maybe I will get a chance to move my bar and chain from the 365SP over and fire it up. Thank you so much Jacob.
That's what the G stands for? I did not know that. Worked again today, but hope to get that saw and my 660 (that huskihl repaired) in some wood soon. Starting to drive me mad.
Maybe and generator heats handles and carb according to website G model have heated handles and carbs.. IDK I just like heated handles..
These are the only small saws I know of that came with a full wrap handle bar. Impossible for me not to like.
I like the XL-76/130 series a lot. They can hang in the cut with the best of them at 58cc. Good muscle in a small package. Here is the maiden voyage from a week or so ago. I've since had the carb apart again and tweaked the throttle shutter/shaft/stop. It is running better.
As soon as you fired it up it took me back to the early-mid 1970s. Those saws were fairly popular in central Maine when I was growing up. Even with the older technology they really were a high performance saw.
Try it, you'll like it . I wish EVERY saw came with a wrap handle ! One great thing about the 026 Stihl was a wrap handle from an 044 fit them.
I think that is a REALLY short bar ! But it looks like it worked well. What displacement is the power head ?
