I've had this saw for a little while now and have posted about it elsewhere, but I realized it never made an appearance here. Unfortunately it has been restored, but under the bright paint is a very nice condition 1959 sand cast Contra/Lightning. I'd say this one is part of a two-way tie for the rarest saw in my collection, and is certainly one of my favorites!
EA3201 , not a powerhouse lol Starts well , antivibe is good and a lightweight . I know the Kita sales rep , I asked for a 3601 , he brought me this one at a real good price so I couldn't say no . I've got about 7 tanks through it so far .
Well , it was a great day , just me and my Dolkita , I found this blowdown maple I checked the top And then promptly misjudged the butt of the stem and ground Brown sawdust = BAD I had to put the saw away and grab another to finish that stem a few inches higher lol
Now there is a great two saw plan The Wood Wolverine!! I love my 357xp Had it out today doing a little cutting.
Second hand Dolmar 115, needs a new muffler and topcover at some point. Made in 1988 Hamburg, West-Germany.
Will be shipped out on Monday,I should see it in about a week afterwards. 7 cube/114cc monster, produced approximately 1970-1972.Less commonly found compared to the previous 2000 Automatic & 2100 of same displacement, which aren't easy to find now either. Powerhead only, saved a good chunk by not including that 50" bar/almost new .404 skip chain. The person I bought this 2100 Super from bought it from a well respected Oregon saw builder/collector who also totally rebuilt & sold me his 750 in late 2015. Completely restored & rebuilt inside & out to factory specs, the paint job is immaculate. It looks almost too nice to use,but I'll definitely be trying it out soon after it arrives.....
There is a Strunk near me looking pretty lonely and available. Missing some parts, but it spins, pull starter gone.
