This an 026 I got a couple weeks ago. It would run but it would not idle. There was no H adjustment on the carb so I ordered a WT194 copy. The saw also was missing the whole fuel tank vent and air filter cover. It also needed an air filter. I need to clean it up a little and put a crank rope on it yet. It runs as good as the 026 pro I posted a pic of yesterday. I already have 3 of this family of saws and I really don't care much for them. They seem pretty under powered to me but this one and the 026 pro I posted a pic of both run about as good as 261.
Old Shindaiwa i just sold. Heres the new saw- ms 271 first brand new saw, nice complement to my other 16" limb saw and 32" homelite. Got to use it a few days and boy what a difference anti-vib does! Worth a mention, the saw was picked up on my anniversary trip (with none of the 3boys) the wife even wanted to go back to the saw shop the next day!
Went and stuffed a larch in the back of the truck this AM. Saws ran well in the cold air. Just working on next, next year's piles. Craftsman 4.3 A/VL (Echo 701 SVL), Poulan 3000, Homelite XL-76, Pioneer P41 and a Jonsereds 630 all got in on the fun.
Here’s another angle, sporting a new square chisel chain just to try it out The new to me 28” and full skip on the 372xp with the 24” little brother standing in the background. ( pardon the disaster area so many projects so little time)
