This is one of the first saws I built from parts. Its a 630 Jonsered with an aftermarket Husqvarna 272 Top end.
Flea Market find this morning - 1981 (I think) Husqvarna 61 Rancher - the well respected 3.7 cube/61cc white top version.Great compression, dont know about spark yet.18" sprocket nose bar & 3/8" full comp chain with lots of life yet. This & decades old 12" Diamond brand adjustable wrench with just a little spot or two of surface rust & some grime. No modern low quality Chinese knockoffs here, friends. Asked seller what he'd take for both items - he said $35.....SOLD!!! Think I did OK.
Nice, I have a 441 but I thought the muffler on mine is different. I'll have to look at it. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
My muffler is shaped like that. I was thinking it went straight across on the bottom, but it needs to be curved up for access to the nuts.
Early-mid 70's 24".050 gauge roller nose bar with almost new square chisel full skip chain arrived on Monday.Perfect match for that PM850. VERY aggressive combination here. Normally wears a 20" hardnose, have a 28" late 70's original sprocket nose that came with the saw several years ago also.Saw is rated to pull 36" bar/skip chain combo no problem....
Nice looking machine. Super strong they are. Pulled the PM570 off of the shelf last weekend. Threw a kit in it. It hadn't run it in a couple of years and the kit in it was past due. I forgot how strong these smaller ones were. Noodles galore with a full comp 20" buried. Worked through a few big rounds of Douglas fir. Lots of pieces marbled with white crystallized sap. Hot stuff in the firebox.
