Chainsaw Locked Up!

    The saw is amazing, I was cutting through the wood so much faster than my Homelite! I never really had a justification for a high end saw but I'll be buying log length wood from a neighbor from now on and cutting my own wood so this saw was a great investment.

    I have had the 390 for 8 years of so now. It was my only saw up untill this summer. CAD

    390/391 is a good saw. When the warranty is up you might want to consider a little muffler surgery and get that new saw feeling all over again.

    Yeo I modded my 390 this yr. The day that warranty is over mods that bad boy.it makes it feel much stronger and cuts a bit faster too!!

    Screw the warranty. Mod it today. You can always buy a muffler if you must have warranty work done.

    Yeah, but if your saw goes down during the warranty period its nice to not have to turn any wrenches before you drop it off at the Stihlership.
