I'm getting antsy... I always look forward to seeing such a hard working crew and the smiles on the faces while they are making burnable firewood for a great cause from some old logs that the sawmill has rejected...

So....I have this log of magnesium......

 

OOOOOOHHH Booooyyyyyy!!!! after work activities...

 

We tried putting 3" thick chunks in the fire. It needs to be thinner as its like a big heat sink. Nearly impossible to cut because it clogs up blades. I've been drilling it to make it like swiss cheese. Supposed to rain again tomorrow. Maybe I'll drill more holes. I can bring it. A log splitter could make it smaller.

 

You're saving the drill cuttings? Or have you burned them already. LOL

 

A pile of those would burn quite nicely...

I wouldn't have been able to save them more than a day or two either so I can't say anything... LOL TOO MUCH FUN

 

Its addicting for sure. Its a bummer I have no saw carcasses to bring and burn.

 

I do have a good sized brush pile that needs to burn
