Big stuffs is what would be the most helpfull to get worked up, the smaller logs are easier to handle by myself. I appreciate anything we get done. I have delivered 16 cord to people so far , 17 is on the trailer waiting for daylight to deliver. Originally I thought there was 30 cord in the pile but it will probably end up being around 25 cord. Having a loader tractor sure makes filling the dump trailer easier, used to take me an hour and a half to load the trailer by hand.
No worries huskihl, I had a great time up there with you guys. Thanks for hosting a great GTG and looking forward to seeing you at Walt's.
Anyone by chance hoteling it in Mansfield? Trying to figure out my lodging for the weekend. I’ll bring a couple big wood saws , if that’s the flavor. dirtdevil huskihl
I'll probably bring this to get it broken in before it goes to the great north for an extra helping of sausage.
Bellville and Mt Vernon are closer, ten miles west there is a motel at St Rt 95 and I - 71. Redneck and Cindy stay there and I think Dennis has in the past. There is room for a few in the cabin and there is plenty of room for campers and tents
Had two more loads of logs delivered on Friday, we shouldn't run out of wood. Reject logs from sawmills sometimes have metal in them , beware.
I live about fifteen to twenty minutes away from Walt. If any tent campers want a change of scenery, you are welcome to stay here. I have a few spots along the Big Walnut creek that would make pretty cool camping spots. I'll just need to talk to the bears and let them know I have visitors for the night. If you are interested, PM me.
