    I have been enjoying these two videos. There is such joy and celebration in congregation singing. Plus they are old songs that I prefer. I would like attend one of these sessions. Don't think they happen in our area, though.

    Anne wrote this song with Matthew West. She is 18-19 yrs old. Song is about her brother. We saw her in concert with Matthew in Toccoa GA.
    She is going on spring tour with Zach Williams. Go see her if you get a chance.

    When I want to go deep, Patrick Lenke has it pretty well nailed. He is not a monk. He has 6 or 8 pieces.
    His stuff is reserved for the war room, and is usually accompanied by frankencense incense, and fairly intense times.

    I kinda like anything that is Gregorian chant. Also good is Orthodox choral music.

    I sang in a Latin schola that sang a lot of chant so it is near and dear to me. Long before that I attended a Byzantine Rite church that uses Orthodox liturgy and music so I have a fond place in my heart for that too.
