My math says 3.5 cord in that last pic. I did add a few more logs out of the woods to be closer to the splitter.
Ya know that bark box on the 462 is damm loud. Used it on the first set of logs no problem. Cut some more logs yesterday and the sound was killing me. Something to do with how I was bucking logs in a pile. Sound was bouncing off the log in front or something. Had to grab a set of muffs. Felt like a miniature jackhammer on my ear drums. I’m already deaf but that pain was unbearable and obviously not helping whatever is left of my hearing :)

Yes it is loud. Ive been using hearing protection for a few years while cutting ever since using a hammer drill in a small bathroom drilling through tile floor. Made my eardrums rattle and ring. Couple times on Sunday i didnt put them on for a quick cut and what a difference.

Late lunch/early supper. buzz-saw's ribs and pizza. It was postponed a day due to heavy rain so half couldnt make it the next day. He had already reserved the porto potty. Why the pic was taken there was a mystery to me. Someone mentioned group pic and??? Good for laughs though!

Yep. For sure. Once the heat kicked in I went into hibernation mode. I’m just waking up and realizing it’s firewood season again :)

Oh I'm right behind you on that. I honestly have done little myself firewood wise.
It was all I could do to get normal yardwork done during the heat , I am lucky that I have a job where I am in the AC , the hard part now is playing catch-up.

that’s about the rate that I see myself getting stuff done before I start, then things slow to a crawl….

The OP was from 2023. GTG was May 2023. Im thinking it conflicted or you had another commitment IIRC.
