The one marked 3B on the bottom is your oldest one, "circa 1924" and has some value around $100.00, if I'm reading my book correctly. The 1053H is the newer/heavier one, they were made up through the 60's checking in about $25 to $35. Both very nice pans!
Tonight it's so crappy out, I had to make some cornbread in my old Griswold #8 , just had to share this! I always love the way it comes out.
I made a pot of chili Sunday and was thinking after it was almost all gone.....should've made corn bread!! Dang!
Whats the cooking surface look like? Small letter #8 1939 to 1944 say's $15 to $25. It's a buy at $25 if the cooking surface is in nice shape.
Well, If it's worth it to "you" thats all that matters! I would'nt pay that for it, Maybe $30 would be my max. Offer them a lower price and go from there. If you exceed $40, to me thats just a little expensive. But again, it's solely your want and worth.
Nice pan. Same here. I'd be at $25 for that one, $30 tops. If it sits for a week or so, make an offer. Ridiculous how popularity drives the prices up. Can't wait until the antique market opens again in the spring.
I didn't. It's at an antique mall. There's no one there to make an offer to. And I'm a little short on money right now We're gearing up for a snowmobile trip to northern Maine also
A little bump. Pan fried chicken in olive oil with minced garlic, mushrooms and pancetta. Added Alfredo sauce and cooked penne. This was cooked in the #8 Wagner. This pan is great. It is so responsive to heat changes on the gas stove. No new pans lately. I'll be on the prowl when spring hits.
Looks delicious! I have a couple spots you can check out when your up this way pan hunting! Now I'm hungry!
Sounds absolutely delicious! But their's just one problem with that dish, I am lactose intolerant so the Alfredo sauce is a big no no for me! If you know what I mean!
