This wagon is biggish and heavy. It's not a sports car for sure. It's definitely not an SUV either. Much closer to a sports sedan feel. It would be interesting to know which 5 series you drove. There has been steady size inflation in the BMW line up. A 3 series today is the same size as a 5 series from a decade or two ago.
It was 98 or 99 I have several friends from college who chose much more lucrative career paths but don't know how to drive their expensive cars lol
Those were definitely some of the best Bimmers ever made, smaller, lighter and more nimble. Size-wise, the 5 you drove is the same or smaller than the current 3's. I'm not a fan of the latest generation. They seem too bloated and underpowered with too much focus on technology and not enough on driving experience. Too bad.
1921 Oldsmobile Truck....I watched "The Beverly Hillbillies" many times as a kid....this truck is a real girl magnet. Just ask Jethro Bodine.
I get it then...... "just send me a check for 1000 and I'll send you a check to cash for me...its 2000 and you can keep 500 for yourself...…" something like that.
I dunno...seems legit...lots of pics, local phone number, gives a contact name... completely unlike most scam ads...
Some nice cars on here. This is my daily driver - a late 2006 Volvo S60 in need of a wash. I do a lot of driving for work and this car eats up the miles without issues and is very comfortable.
I've owned three Volvos' in my life, all had over 300,000 miles when I traded them off, all with very little mechanical issues.
Got this one just over two years ago with 122,000 miles on it, I have put about 67k more miles on it and apart from wear & tear and some minor electrical niggles, it's been perfect
Thread bump! Looking through old pics tonight and I found some pics (sorry, crappy pic of a pic) of my old '87 GT 'Stang...and truck too...1980 F150 4x4 351M C6 with 3" body lift, 1" front suspension spacers, 33" Wild Country MT's
I nearly bought an e39 with the 4.4 v8 in a sedan, a 540 sport. But. That darn rwd and daily driver on snow territory. So I passed and I owned an insanely rare 4.2 liter v8 04 Audi allroad for 8 yrs. I loved that car. Not as fast as my fox body mustangs, but it could do it all.
I missed this thread and didn't see it. I've had several broncoII's. My ex fiance's was a 90 with the flush headlights and a 5spd to go with the 2.9 v6.
