I've narrowed my choices down to these two 48" cant hooks. Logrite is aluminum. Wood-mizer is steel. The prices are close online once shipping and tax are factored on.
    Opinions?

Yeah. I have some very big wood to move and more leverage is better. That, and price, and the pickaroon I already have, made me look past the log ox.

Looks like I don't need a cant hook now. The tree service came back today, bucked up the big stuff, and moved the rounds with a loader. I still kinda want one though.
They moved most of it over to my neighbor's property. I have more wood than I can deal with and the neighbor wanted it.

I have the 60" Log-Rite and its been great. Even though aluminum, its got good weight to it and provides great leverage. Wish I had purchased the log jack attachment but plan to add it soon.

I have a 4’ logrite & a 4’ can’t hook with a wooden handle made in Maine. I think the company name maybe Peavey mfg. I really can’t say why but I always seem to grab the logrite first. I think it digs into the log to turn it better

I have the logrite 60" (I think) and yesterday we broke frozen logs free from the ground using a come-a-long from the handle to the truck hitch. We didn't go nuts but a lot harder than we could yank on the handle. It still looks the same as before.

    I'd say that's a good testimonial.

54" genuine Peavey Manufacturing Cant hook. Men have been using them in the woods and mills for generations.
