    Was thinking about putting in the basement (finished room). I was told they did burn wood in it at one time.

    Some of them came with different grate sets so you could do both, wood is normally used to touch off a coal fire so coal units can burn wood, the other way around is not always doable in a safe manner.

    Well nobody trying,but is a strange setup. Yellowstone stoves was a stove shop(in livingston) that went out of buisness pre-1985.Stove was probably made in the shop that welded blaze kings out here back then(it is a wood stove),Feeder system would be a collins pellet to wood conversion(used to be made here also).Was common for stove shops to pay local people to make the ceramic inserts.

    I knew it looked like an early BK? But the pellet unit had to be am add on.
