LOL!!! you are kind of correct. i love the snow in november and december. and I like it in march. lol!!! good point!!!
thanks for posting!!! I can relate i also sorta miss the wood stove when the power is out and the temps drop. . . also yes we are spoiled. and i don't wanna change a thing. i worked really hard to install that in floor heat and paid a pretty penny to have ppl help me, so i feel i deserve it. (JK. I totally don't deserve a thing). I don't have allergies but it is easier to breathe in the cold. thank you so much for sharing.
very good points!!! love it and hate it in a way!!!! the plowing and cleaning off of vehicles gets old just to go to the happy place "work" Also yes work is good to have (compared to no work) but I wanna relax in winter too!!!! all seasons have their ups and downs.
I could not agree more my friend. give me freeze until mud at least then I can work until the thaw!!!!
you know what i think it is? when i was a kid i slept in a bed room that, if you put a glass of water on the window sill at night, it would be frozen by morning. so now having a warm house, for the first time in my life, I have the mentality of (bring it winter!!!!) so i actually enjoy having a cold winter for a change. LOL!!! maybe its just me?! IDK?!?!?!
I wish I could like this comment twice!!!! a normal storm is absolutely beautiful. I love how a snow storm shuts down this world. it brings ppl back to reality, remembering that the daily grind doesnt' really matter. take a day off. have some fun w/kids and just enjoy life. spend the day with a 4 Y/o and try to se things thru their eyes. you'll never regret it.
I'm so glad to see I'm not alone!!! also I'm jealous of you that you live in a state with more snow than me!!!
I could not agree more with you!!! except I love A/C. I cant get enough of it in the summer. maybe things will change with age? who knows for sure. LOL!!!
You were lucky to have water to be able to put into a glass.....Must've been from the rich side of town!
How much did it suck having to trudge through waist deep with no shoes to school every day, uphill both ways?
Now I think I figured out the hidden message! Gotcha! Amazing the benefits of working for a living and not a deceptive lifestyle choices, no?
Oh... there's a lot of snow nuts in Maine. Skiers are having snowgasms after this last storm just dumped 16" on the hills. But, it's Maine... so now it's probably gonna rain hot water and cause premature evacuation of the slopes. They'll be back. The snowmobilers up north already have a couple of feet of snow to ride. I don't like "moving" snow, or driving in it, too much these days. I enjoy all 4 seasons and winter is my fav, s'all. Just came in from roof raking and blowing the rear deck. I choose to focus on the snowscape's beauty, so I won't think about how much I hurt movin' it... ... ayuh... "snow nut".
