That's a very generous offer. I'll have to think on whether to quit while I'm ahead, or in one piece anyway. They just limbed it and chipped the brush today, the trunk is still standing.

kinda like their MO around here too. The big pines across the street from me were left with partial tops. Couple weeks ago there was a guy in climbing gear limbing them. Too tall even for their boom trucks.
Great job stuckinthemuck !!!:salute: Nice looking stack of rounds! Well done!

post pics in "the car hoarding thread" Kimberly if you do. I really enjoy the tenacity and improvision car hoarders have!

I do have one photo on here where I posted. My sister told me she didn't want me hauling any wood in the car.

There are some threads on here about the car. My sister gave me the car; it at first needed the intake repaired. Then I had the transmission to go out. So far I have made repairs that equal the value of the car. Stuff happens. I did haul wood in the boot at one time and there is a photo on here showing that. However, sister has told me to not haul any more wood in the car.

The only really efficient way to car hoard is to get a 4x8 or so trailer. Do you have a hitch on the LeSabre? I know that vehicle can easily the a loaded small trailer. A 4x8 with some sides can hold 2/3 of a cord easily. That amount of wood in a load is a good way to catch up, and get ahead

Yes, it does have a hitch; a class 1 or A; I forget what the hitches are called. I got an adapter for the 1 inch carrier and a ball. I am hoping to get a trailer that I can pull behind the car and the tractor when I get the tractor back together. Just got to save my nickels and dimes. There have been times where a small trailer to pull would be handy; like getting soil for my gardens. Or find some wood that needs to be hauled away.
