I guess we can call it cad. Been wanting one of these little fellas, but was too cheap to pull the trigger. Found one on fb marketplace new in box with charger and 4.0 battery for 140. Snatched it up quick. 250 +tax in the store. It ought to be fun and handy tool to use.
They're handy little saws, but be a bit careful. The hand grips are not the best thought out thing. If they kick they'll get ya.
The left hand grip is a little awkward, but i can't see myself using it very often. Used it a little bit this morning. Seemed to work well for what its designed for. Chain speed is lacking, but a sharp chain should help compensate for that.
Yep, they turn about 1/2 the rpms of a gasser, so being a "chainsaw guy" I sharpened & lowered the rakers to about .028". Cuts way better, but it will kick hard if you don't watch the tip & battery life dropped about 25%. I would recommend .025 on the rakers.
