Agreed. That was the notion behind agreeing with your first post:thumbs:
NH_Wood would stand by his word, and I'm sure we're all hoping this family friend will see it and let all of us read about the success tomorrow!:D

Gotcha - figured it was a weight issue - I can certainly imagine running her along a long big trunk to buck - would be fun and most of the weight off for most of the time. Cheers!

Good luck! I think you got a real good shot if he hasn't been using it *and* he's got a 2100 too.

Don't worry about the weight. Before long you'll be limbing with it and carrying the logs out of the woods whole. :tree: Its that awesome.

Men, I have an Uncle and several friends with these saws. If you guys are that crazy about them, I can surely put you in touch with them. I'm sure $500 would be more than enough to own any of them. God Bless men

$500 would be a good buy for you IMO.
WV Mountaineer what kind of condition are these in?

Thank you sir! I rarely have a need for a saw that big, but it's sure nice just to listen to it.

I thought my Dolmar 7900 was something until we did a total rebuild and did a little port work on the 288XP Lite. The sound is incredible, and it idles like a dirt bike. Even installed flippy caps.

All are running. Just had a logger offer to sell me on a couple weeks ago. Let me know if you want one. I'll have to get in touch with these guys and make sure they still got 'em. I'm certain I can come up with a few rather quickly. God Bless
