Cabinet shop not ship sorry. This should tide me over for fire starter, having a cabinet shop next door is a great thing. IF I could only get them to cut it to my Fisher stove demensions.
Good score there. In past month I've brought home almost 2 pickup loads of scrap from 2-3 jobsites I've been working at. 1 load of southern yellow pine (some must be shortleaf or loblolly cause its real hard,very close to Red Oak or Mulberry in density) mostly 2 x 4,some 2 x 6 pieces from a foot to 3 feet long from several huge skids/pallets I dismantled & cut up for the sheet metal/ductwork guys. Remainder is usual 2 x 3 to 4 x 4 Red/White Oak,Cottonwood,White Pine/Spruce,low grade Hard Maple etc. dunnage that is used on flat bed semi trailers when they haul stuff like rebar,PVC/ductile iron pipe,structural steel,decking etc to each job. Would fill several dumpsters otherwise,all this small stuff is great for starting or when I need fire for just a few hours in evening. Except for Friday/Saturday it hasn't been cold enough for continuous burning here yet.But that will change soon I'm guessing.
Great source for good dry kindling & it makes great "take the chill off - pre-shoulder season fires" Some wine with the cheese ?
