Every year for the last 30 years it has been a running gun battle with all of the crap 26 mature white pines and 6 asst. other trees can rain down on my lot. I have raked and gathered till my back was broke and my hands were just about bleeding. Now that I am a OLD, half-arsed handicapped fool, I have decided to invoke the "make it easier" on myself rule. Just got my new pine needle rake for the back of Bodi'. I will now mount the annual attack from the commander's seat. Bring it on trees.........................

I figure with that on the back and the broom on the front, we should be able to eat off the lawn and I hopefully won't keel over in the process IMG_6340.JPG ................LOL

That would be one way to unclump the deer poop and spread it all around.

It is not a conventional landscape rake. It is more of a lawn rake especially designed to p/u pine needles, cones, branches and leaves. The tines are more numerous, thinner and very springy

Does gravity only hold it down? Got to thinkin’ You might need a little counterweight because of the volume of pine needles you have.

Tried it this afternoon. It weighs about 150 lbs on it's own. Really don't want it digging things up. Seems to just roll everything along in front of it.

30-36", 75 to 90' White Pine is worth virtually nothing in this area. Would cost you more to drop them and do the clean up, so we will just leave them where they are.

My thoughts exactly but you probably need them for shade in that hot Ontario summer.

From 2008 to 2014 I lived in a house that had a huge pine tree in front. I generally parked 20 feet or so away from the trunk of that tree, which was 3 feet in diameter. I am STILL picking pine needles out of odd places in that truck.
