Good luck, that’s a fair offer. I got mine new a few years ago for a little over 1k. It has a 24” light bar.

At first i thought holy cow thats a rip off. I see them bringing over MSRP on ebay. Its a ported saw hence the higher price. Im guessing a few hundred dollars more. Figure 13% of that is just ebay/paypal fees too.

Maybe huskihl can chime in. Whats the retail for a ported 500i Kevin? Is his price out of line? Is a 500i porting more involved than a "regular" saw?

I didn’t see that it was ported. Makes a little more sense then.

The saw was ported/MM. What does one of those bring?

He didn’t say who it was ported by. If it was somebody well-known, that usually adds $3-350. If it was by Joe Schmo, I wouldn’t pay retail for it because you’re taking too much chance on not running as well as a stock saw

Wasnt going cutting today, but last frozen day for a while and a couple "new" saws had me decide to go anyhow. Rain and warmer temps will turn storage area into MUD! Called buzzsaw but with last minute he couldnt change his schedule. Hit the score and cut the only barkless down locust. Couldve gotten away without the 462 but bucked a few rounds with it anyhow.
Couple long down small cherry trunks finished out the load. IMG_0406.JPG
IMG_0405.JPG IMG_0407.JPG IMG_0411.JPG More to be had buried under leaves with a couple blow downs right next to where is was cutting. IMG_0408.JPG IMG_0409.JPG

    We might go next weekend.

Hit the score today. Three hours work navigating the stacks of logs. Some frozen in place yet. Both got healthy loads. He freed up some buried BL that filled out my PU. IMG_0438.JPG IMG_0439.JPG His load IMG_0437.JPG
Fun times and nice weather. Still PLENTY there.

    Yeah Buddy!
    I'm ready for next time.
Small trailer is buried to the axle in mud in backyard , no worries though I have a spare if I need it.
Thanks for the fun and the help , good times for sure and can't wait until next time.
