    I can't get over how thick and rough that BL bark is. That must hamper the drying a bit.

    Not really. The bark is soft. If left unprotected once felled/down it comes off with machete or hatchet easily after a few months. Some of these the bark was loose. Stinks something terrible too. It is cool on larger trees. Hard to miss.

    haha yeah im not sure what year they are from the blue one is so reliable…i do take a bit of verbal abuse for running the old saws from my friends but im happy with them for now ….i will get a new saw one day and see what all this hype about high rpms light weight low emission is about :wacky:

    My brother was trying to get one a couple weeks ago he decided he had to have one but no one around has onesaid no one in Pennsylvania has them…thats outta my price range anyhow i don’t wanna spend more than 1000 all set n done with bar n chains

    Only a little heavier than a 400 and a few bucks more
