I released the hiking portion of my upcoming camping video separately in order to shave a little time off the camping video. In this video I have footage from a diy orbital camera rig that I think came out really cool.
This past weekend's solo camping trip into the NJ Pine Barrens where I made campfire rotisserie duck.

Over the summer I had met up with Patrick from NJ Outdoor Adventures YT channel and gave him a tour of my bus. The video came out yesterday.
We're planning heading to Upstate NY later this month to check out some waterfalls. Lately the bus has been driving a bit hot and I noticed a chirp so I'm thinking water pump replacement time. Working on a duramax in a bus front end is no fun lol there is not much room to move around and you have to take off so much just to get to the things that are being replaced. The bus is getting a new water pump, fan clutch, thermostats, pulleys, and coolant temp sensor. It sucks because I had the fan clutch and belt replaced 2 years ago but I think the water pump not functioning properly must have messed it up since I cant get it to communicate with the ecm. I'm taking this opportunity to put a severe duty clutch on this time. I'm doing all of the work myself. I paid a shop to do the radiator and fan clutch 2 years ago and the mechanic shorted something out and fried my backup camera plus he didnt put the air intake on correctly and it kept going into limp mode on the test drive. His diagnosis was a new MAF sensor and several hundred more $$$$. I limped it home and realigned the hoses and tightened things down an never had that problem again. The shop reimbursed me for the new backup camera and while I was there I asked the mechanic who did the work if he took off the intake hose and he told me no lol. The job is impossible to do without taking the hose off. I'll never go back to that shop again.
Yuppers diesel vans are pretty much the worst to work on space wise. Worse if it’s an ambulance with all the extra wiring and do dads!
