That makes 2 of us Sean. You know how we all get used to the stuff/gear we have, and little by little we start taking it for granted? Welp, that lil JD made me proud again this morning (been my baby for 12 years now) when it lifted that full top and carried it. Must have been 30' long. All I could think of was how much that was saving my back.

Yup, no place for her to ride along on the tractor where I could keep an eye on her. Been thinkin' bout a small box on the left side of the seat. That'd be cool. Handy for the saw too.

Haha, that's for sure. Where I used to work we had a ton of forklifts... I'm pretty sure we didn't put paper in the copier without using one even :D

Been using a Case TR270 in teh woods as a skidder, little thing is amazing. Brought out about 30 cords of logs in a day on maybe 10 gallons of diesel.

Giz too. Makes me really nervous when I'm sawing. She tries to attack the saw. Now.... I figger that just can't be a good thing.

Samson was ready to kill the shop vac the other day:rofl:  Haven't had a pooch do that since a Pomeranian we had growing up as kids - she hated brooms as well, but would run beside the tractor all day with me in the fields. That dog loved the farm

He's gotten around me when sawing a few times - sniffing the log, never gone after the saw

In the post "logging pics" I have a few. Hard to take pics when I'm running it. The other 2 guys are busy running equipment too. I've never been much for taking photos of everything.

My dog sleeps under the processor or conveyor usually. Have junk falling down on him, he barely lifts an eye unless it's a decent size, then I get the stink eye.

Started to rain... had enough heat to fight it for a while...

Rain finally poured for about 15 minutes, then stopped again. Got most of this burned down because it was so hot...

3 hours total this morning. Still have another 2-3 loads to go.

Is there anyway to move that smiley back away from the fire a little? I'm getting a little warm here.
