Get your wife or significant other to go around to the other ear, place their lips against your ear and blow as hard as they can. That should produce enough cyclonic turbulence to induce lift on the wings of the bug creating flight. Hope this helps..............LOL
Oh don't worry...you weren't in Peru were you? http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-derbyshire-23333284
That happened to me a few years ago. We were at our camp and I was standing by a lantern. A bug buzzed my ear and I swatted it and managed to drive it straight into my inner ear. It got all the way up against my eardrum which was exceptionally painful and caused all sorts of sound as it was pushing it around. I managed to kill it in my ear by squeezing and pushing on my ear. We were unable to get it flushed out so I went to the ER the next day. Intake nurse asks me what I'm there for. I tell her there is a bug in my ear. She pauses for a brief second, gives me a puzzled look and says: 'You mean the flying kind?' (And the ER doc couldn't get it out either. They sent me to the ENT specialist the next morning. He used a mini vacuum cleaner. I was quite surprised when he pulled it out as it was a deer fly.)
I woke up one day after falling asleep in a lawn chair. Heard this horrendous buzzing in my left ear. Sounded like a P-51 mustang in there. Turned out to be the neighbor kid accidently flew his model plane and it got away from him. It eventually came out of my right ear. Guess the pilot was IFR rated................
