Slingshot guy is funny, but....don't try his ideas on flies. Flies are usually found on windows. Results would be bad. I actually do have a Bug-a-salt. It works and is a lot of fun. Just never let young nephews from Montana use it, they will break it. It won't work on most ants. It doesn't work on my flies. It turns them into a crawl vs. a fly. But , they die nonetheless. No wings after an accurate shot. It's really good for smaller spiders. Table salt is too small, go for the larger sea salt as ammo. Think #8 shot vs. #4 Buck. Go for it, pick one up. You'll have a blast with it, trust me.
