I like to run a saw as it was designed before I mess with it. Sometimes your very pleasently surprised. However that is up to you. If you are just dying to do something to it, pull the jug and put a new Caber ring in it. About 15 minutes work, and then do a pressure/vac test to see if you have any potential air leaks, also check the carb boot and impulse line!

Oh i don't plan on tearing it apart just yet. Im gonna run it till it get's a little more tired than look into a rebuild. I don't have any logs to be bucked up for firewood right now but the next load i get, the 365 will be getting put to the test. I might sink it in to one of the 30"+ oaks i have just to see what she's got.

I pretty much do a muffler mod/carb tune on any saw i get just to get them breathing better.

Lots of people would rather have a ported 359 than a 357XP. Now that you have the 365 you might want to think about having the 359 ported by Randy or the like!

I found a beater last night. I may snag it up to go with my 372 I bought off here. I'm getting a good pile of saws again and will have to thin the herd soon. As soon as I get above 4-5 I want to sell one or two.

VERY nice looking saw Piney, appears to be very low hour, the plastic is still clean like new! Have you run her yet? Make sure to post your impression of the saw after running it for awhile. Depending on tolanences you might be able to nix the base gasket in favor of 1194 and get a little higher compression. But DON'T go below 0.020 squish!
