I took my plow down to the neighbor so she could see the pulley kit, she has an older plow setup so she was snapping the cable, we hooked something that she could use until they get a pulley.

On my way back I stopped to take a picture of the Brook, it had been freezing from the bottom up so it's running across the part of our neighbors property where she has a garden.

With the real cold weather coming in, it will only get worse.

It can be Pallet Pete , the town keeps an eye on it, especially in the spring once the ice starts heading out.

I think it was two years ago (maybe three) they ask for permission to leave a big excavator on our property by the bridge. They thought the ice was going to be bad but it ended up they never had to use the excavator.

How much rain did you get? We got pounded pretty good here. I saw plows out trying to clear the ice off the shoulder of the roads not far from here relieving the flooding. You better double your good wood supply, your wind chills will be brutal!

Mother Nature rules huh Zap? Water gudda go. Incredible power and forces at work. If it didn't cause so much damage and hassle sometimes... I'd call it just plain fun to watch...

I'm not sure on the total but I went from plowing snow yesterday to plowing water today, I keep the natural drain on the low part of the lawn near the house plowed out, all water and slush today.

The wind gust are starting to increase, glad we don't have any ice on the trees.
