That is such a cool project. I would go out of my way just to cross it while out in the woods. Plus, the water quality and no bank erosion, all is better off due to your labors. Good job!

Got the ramps done today. Need to get some driveway split to put in front of them both. Finish up the curbing. Not sure,,,,maybe just one side. We shall see.
Couple days of rain coming. Would be nice to get the driveway processed stone in so it can wash in nice.
Great job there jo! I remember cutting ironwood poles with my uncle and building a bridge with them on his lot in Becket MA many years ago. Nothing quite as fine as what you've built there, but it was a stout bridge and I bet it's still standing. He never quite worked up the courage to drive his old woods truck (a little indestructible Isuzu that earned its keep a hundred times over) over it, but it saw plenty of foot traffic while he still had the property. An aunt bought the lot from him when he moved the family to Texas and has let it run to riot. The whole two acre home site we cleared is wild again now almost twenty years later! The old well Pepere dowsed is still giving water though.
Ok, so it’s considered done. Except for some stone in front of the ramps and cleanup. Knock that rotten stump out and cut the pine on the other side. Did drive over it the day I finished but forgot the phone. Walked back to snap some pics.
